Marin Builders Committees and Trusts
Board of Directors (Meets Monthly)Responsible for the overall policy and positions of the Association. More info about the Marin Builders Association Board of Directors.
Education and Construction Committee (Meets Monthly During School Year)This Committee is responsible for bridging the gap connecting Marin Builders Association members to internship programs including the ROP (Regional Occupational Program) and School to Career Partnerships. This committee works to fill internship positions with Marin Builders Association member employers and enhance the ROP program.
Events (Meets as Needed)This Committee plans and prepares for our three main annual events including our Crab Feed (February), Scholarship Awards and Past Presidents Reception (May) Golf Tournament (Late Summer) and other fun networking and training related events.
This Committee acts as a steering committee for the board of directors and recommends to the Board of Directors any action that may be necessary to maintain our highest standards.
Executive Committee (Meets Quarterly)
Finance Committee (Meets Twice Annually)This committee periodically reviews financial statements assists staff in preparation of the annual budget and for approval by the Board of Directors.
Permit Simplicity Initiative Committee (Meets Quarterly)This Committee works on concepts, ideas and opportunities around our efforts to simplify the permit and inspection process in for industry professionals and homeowners in Marin County.
Political Action Committee – BAPAC (Meets Quarterly)This committee interviews candidates requesting an endorsement. It functions independent of the Board and is appointed annually by the Board of Directors. Has the ability to make contributions to endorsed campaigns. Scholarship Trust (Meets As Needed)The Trust oversees funds for the scholarship program. All graduating High School Seniors are eligible to apply for scholarships annually. More on the Marin Builders Scholarship Program.
