Green Building Committee

Marin Builders Association received Green Business certification by the Marin County Board of Supervisors at a Green Business Recognition Ceremony.

Green Businesses must meet higher standards of conservation in energy, water, waste reduction and pollution prevention.

During the renovation at our current location, all demolition materials were recycled. The finished improvements to the office space included among other things recycled ceiling tiles, non-toxic paint and an energy efficient roof system.

We also launched the electronic "Online Planroom" so our members can access construction projects to view and estimate from wherever they have computer and internet access.

As of recently a Green Building Committee has been formed at the Association in an effort to promote green building in Marin County. The Committee Members are as listed below:
